Finca Las Golondrinas
After the August emergency, a Pijao family is rebuilding its home in minga: a brick-and-mortar house of about 64 m², on footings and foundation beams, with the principles of the Nido model that apply here: a firm foundation, protection from damp and wide eaves. Here you can follow every step and help finish it.

To finish the house
- Labour to finish: …. The materials are already bought and on the farm; what still needs funding is the work.
- Excavation, 12 footings and foundation beams, with protection from damp: the region's most expensive lesson.
- Floor slab, brick walls, upper tie beam and roof (96 m² of roof).
- Water and sun: water tank and solar power.
- Decorate and live in it: once the house is dry and roofed, artists from the region join in with murals, ceramics and carved details.
