The houses
Follow each house: the work done, what is missing and the ways to help. The rebuilding is done as a community.
A brick-and-mortar house of about 64 m², raised in minga on a firm foundation. The materials are already on the farm; what is missing is the labour.
We are preparing a planning visit with a family whose home was damaged by damp and the earthquake. Its page will open when the family agrees.
Building and planting are on pause because of soil risk. We will accompany the community again when it and conditions allow.
How it is built
A firm foundation, real protection from damp, a guadua frame, bahareque walls and clay tile. Each house page shows which step it is on.
What we never publish: addresses, coordinates, names without written consent, or photos of children. A family can ask us to remove any content, and we do so within 24 hours.
Every delivery with its signed record. The records signed with each family are published on the house page within 7 days of each delivery.
